Cellular phones are handheld telephones that can be used from any location within a given service area. In addition to their core voice capabilities, today's cell phones are offering more and more advanced features, such as text messaging, email, games, music, and mobile web browsing.

To send and receive information, cell phones connect to a cellular network. They are generally powered by a small rechargeable battery, which is included with the phone.
